Now that all the hub-bub of the New Year getting started is settling down, it is time to take a breath, get centered, and take another look at where you are and where you wish to go.
If you made resolutions, how is that going? Usually by this time many resolutions have been lost back to habitual patterns of thoughts and actions. In the day to day of life we get sucked back into the same old things. It's easy. It's comfortable. Our ego takes back control from our dreams, our inspiration. Its job is to keep things the same, keep it safe.
Change is a scary thing! Even if things now are not as we like, it is safer, more familiar, much less fearful. But is that living your life? Or is just repetition of the same things day after day after day? And where has that gotten you? Has it taken you to your dreams? All the way to your dreams? Perhaps you are part way there, but what about the rest of the it? Do you really want to settle when you could have it all - an inspiring job, relationship, abundance galore, living with true purpose?
No matter where you are on your personal journey, now, this moment and from this moment on, is the time to strap up your boots and make a true and real commitment to yourself. We say, "Tomorrow I will do that. I will have more time. I will have the money, I will be able to really be committed." Yet how many times have you already said that? How much more of your life are you going to let slip by feeling mediocre? You really do not have all the time in the world. You really do only have now.
Your future is out there in front of you. Or is it? There are many perspectives in which to view this statement. The one thing you can be sure of is that if it is, and you continue to do what are doing, you will continue to get what you have. If you are satisfied with that, then that is the tone you have set. If you are not, it is still the tone you have set.
What is the tone you want to set for your tomorrows? Or do you feel too stuck to do anything about it? Take a step right now out of the mire. Even a tiny step. Rise up, raise your vibration, set a higher tone.
