Being Okay with What Is

In my last blog I spoke of Appreciation. A desire to appreciate is a very good first step for as you look for and find things to appreciate (and they are everywhere - from a bird in a tree, to clouds in the sky, to a smiling face, that cool car that just went by......) it quickly gains momentum and you are forming a habit of noticing things you appreciate. A very good habit to have.

You may want to feel badly about yourself for not being able to appreciate some unhappy people or an event in your experience. I am not suggesting that you be able to look at something you do not want and feel good about it. Yet instead, look for the things that do cause you to feel appreciation. Put your attention there and you will be drawn to more of the same.

When you are looking for things to appreciate, you have control of your vibrational offering and your point of attraction. On the other hand, when your are reacting to the way others seem to feel about you or a situation you have no control. You cannot know the why or what is happening in others experiences. You can only know your own and thus control your own. When you are more interested in how you feel, then how others feel about you or the situation, you have control of your experience.

Just be okay with what is out of your "control" and seek to find your own way of moving through your life from your own perspective of appreciation all that is good.
